Filler? Lips? Botox? Let's Talk

Ok, to start I am sure I may get backlash from this but honestly, that's ok. I understand people have their own views on filler, botox, treatments and everything else. No one wants to be "fake" in my mind if you dye your hair, style it or cut even then you are technically "different" than what God naturally made you so please don't judge too hard on those of us that want to do a little something.

I have always been someone that is honest about beauty treatments, because in my mind when someone says " no, I naturally don't have wrinkles and I am against Botox" is mind blowing! Because guess what (Kardashians) we know.. and guess what you look great so just own it! make women be more comfortable with being open and honest! Don't talk about empowering women and then lie about what you have done and make other women feel like they are "naturally perfect"!! Makes me so mad ... lol anyway..Ladies it is OK to want to look better and feel better about yourself! You want something for you then do it for YOU!! I did! I wanted to share with you ,my story and what happened and how it got fixed..and not be embarrassed or  get judged.

In 2014, I had my lips done, and I thought it was ok but it wasn't. I had "monkey mouth" or "duck mouth" from them injecting the wrong area. It wore off of course but I still had a little residual left over believe it or not even now, which is crazy! So people always commented about me having my lips and I was like " yes but in 2014 for cryin out loud" these are mine now.  Well, like any bride before I get married I want to look perfect, well as perfect as I can be on my special day. Due to my bad experience in LA I called Melissa Schleicher (celebrity makeup artist) and future Parlour 3 partner and told her I needed perfection and she introduced me to Dr. Brian Biesman in Nashville.

So I went to Nashville and let me tell you, I will forever go to him. Not because of just his talent but his way with patients was beyond caring, kind and a perfectionist. He called up with follow up texts to make sure I was loving my result. Ladies this never happens! he spent ample time with me and I was not rushed. he understood I wanted to look natural and not overdone and wanted to be fixed. Well, he fixed my bad lip job and somehow injected me in a way that made my lips look more natural than before. I also failed to mention that in April in LA I had a bad botox job ( i know my luck to get messed up twice) anyway,  they made my eyelid fall a bit. I showed Dr. Biesman photos of my before botox and after and he saw what I meant. He also fixed that and promised that by my wedding I would be all set. I am already so happy with my results that I wanted to share!   If you don't live in Nashville area then if you have a trip coming I would highly recommend  going or researching a Doctor in your area. I am not saying everyone should go and get filler, and botox, I am saying that as women we want to look and feel beautiful so don't let others make you feel wrong about doing so! Do what YOU want! I wanted this so I did it and I am so happy and want you all to feel ok about talking about it! Also, note about Dr. Biesman.. he does EVERYONE!! Can't mention or won't mention any names but trust me on this everyone!!!

Here are my before and after of my lips. All Left Side is before and all right side is after. You will notice on left side I had a almost "swoop" effect from my nose to lip which made it look more duckish and that is what he fixed as well as balance out my bottom lip!

I hope you all enjoy the honesty and don't beat me down lol. I just want it to be ok for us ladies to talk about this and make it not so "taboo" that's all.. We are all beautiful the way we are but if something makes you feel better then by all means do it for YOU!   xoxo   Jess
